Artist John Murray (Girramay) lives at Murray Upper, north-west of Cardwell. He began painting in 2008 and immediately found working creatively as a outlet for positive expression. Arts has also provided John a means of communication, empowering his voice and sharing his stories without the limitation of his disabilities.
